The other day, during the normal dinnertime mayhem, Ellie 'Jinxed' Daddy, while he was talking. He immediately played along an clammed up. Ben, being the helpful "un-jinxer" proceeded to help out; while Elli trying to make a joke of it, got slipped up in her delivery:
Ben, age 6: "Dad...er...I mean Marc...?"
Ellie, age 8: "You call you father by your first name?"
Ben: "No. My name is Ben."
