So...
My mom flew into town last Thursday to be here for family stuff, my sister in law's new baby, and just to generally hang out. On Friday she and Grandma S. went to Provo, and did a whirlwind of shopping, playing and helping. On their way home they passed a Little Caesar's Pizza, and called and asked if we would like some...
It had been one of THOSE days. I was still in my PJ's and slippers, hadn't showered, dishes piled in the sink, laundry piled in the laundry room (and bathroom, and family room) kids running around half naked, etc, etc, etc.
Marc took Ben to get his stitches removed (the cut has healed very nicely!) and get tacos for dinner - a boys' night out! So, of course, I gladly accepted the offering of pizza.
When Mum and Grandma got here they set the pizza on the table, swept the kitchen folded all the clean laundry, finished the unclean laundry, emptied the dishwasher and filled it with the dirty dishes, changed diapers, took out the garbage, listened to stories, and generally did everything that i hadn't done that day...truly a blessing for this stressed out, over scheduled mom, right now.
As we sat down to eat the pizza dinner, Ellie gave the blessing on the food, and included this priceless tidbit in her prayer:
"We are so thankful for Grandma Joy and Grandma S., that they could come upon us today."
Amen.

Amen. Precious. Love the Mama savings.
Thank goodness for Mom and Joy. They always seem to "come upon us" when we need them most. (Ask them about the time my grandma flew into the Salt Lake airport at 8:30 A.M. the day after Christmas when I was expecting her at 8:30 P.M.!)
Oh you make me want my mommy!! Gotta love boys- trips to the ER a plenty and you are absolutely right- Cindy Lou lives in your house!!! Congrats on the 10!
