...I shouldn't leave Marc in charge for too long while I'm away!
Don't get me wrong...he's a great dad and husband...and most of the time he pays attention (at least a little...and definately if there's blood) to what the kids are doing....
It just so happened that on this night he was a little too engrossed in what he and his guests were talking about, and didn't realize that Ellie was painting Ben's hair pink with a stamp pad!!! (The pictures really don't do it justice! Leave it to my kids...)
(To be fair, Lilly was actually sleeping when I got home, the dinner table showed remains of some sort of meal having been consumed earlier, no one had on a diaper hanging to their knees, and the kids WERE playing VERY QUIETLY upstairs...)
I love my husband!
