On Sunday we had Stake Conference, and to keep the kids quiet and occupied we came armed with a barrage of snacks and various *quiet* activities...which, of course, resulted in a mess of crumbs and crayons about half an hour into the meeting (*Sigh*). About ten minutes later we noticed some unwelcome visitors arriving to investigate the mess...ants! Here was Ben's remark on the situation:
Ben, age 4: "Wook, Mom! Doze ants ah wooking fowah food! Dey ah eating da mess! Ants yike messes, do dey?"
The kids were fascinated! Needless to say we didn't clean the 'mess' up until Stake Conference was nearly over...as this was the quietest Stake Conference we've ever had! Thank goodness for ants!

HA! You should get them an ant farm! Then just whip it out any time there aren't any local ants.
